GEM Academy’s Robotics Program
Whether your child is a tech-savvy enthusiast or a curious beginner, our Robotics class is tailored to cater to all levels of expertise.
GEM Academy’s students will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of robotics, learning about sensors, actuators, programming, and mechanics. Hands-on activities will empower them to design, build, and program their very own robots, fostering a strong foundation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) principles.
Beyond just assembling robots, our curriculum will encourage critical thinking and teamwork. Students will face exciting challenges, testing their creations in thrilling competitions that enhance their skills and ignite their competitive spirit.

Team Kaizenite is a robotics team filled with a group of bright, motivated students who teamed together not only to compete in a robotics competition but learn and experience robotics in all its multitude of areas while spreading STEM to the next generation.
From driving in the morning to competitions and tournaments to working late in the evening, the team is dedicated to continually improving themselves. Thus, comes the team name of Kaizenite, the Japanese term for “Continuous Improvement.” With an organized plan, these students were divided into four subgroups, each with a specific focus. Marketing, 3D CAD, Building, and Programming. Through teamwork and collaboration, they brought their ideas to life. From the marketing team, inspiring STEM to the world, to the 3D CAD team, bringing their designs to life with stunning visualization and 3D printing. The building team, known as “Mechanicians” worked on the Electrical and Mechanical aspects of the robot and built it all from scratch; and let's not forget the programming team, who brought everything together with their expertise while constant learning and trial & error.
The end result was more than just robotics. With students learn public speaking, marketing, social media, web development, and programming, using the latest industry-standard tools like GIT and 3D CAD designing, Laser cutting and engraving, and CNC.
As we embark on this exhilarating journey as a STEM robotics team, we eagerly anticipate the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead. With innovation as our compass and collaboration as our driving force, we're committed to pushing the boundaries of technology and creativity. Now Kaizenite is not just a robotics team but a family of Techno-Enthusiast with a future where possibilities are endless and dreams transform into reality.
